The Switch Thru Axle is a standard thru axle machined from 7075 aluminum and is available with two drilling option – hollow or LITE. Hollow axles have a hollow core to reduce weight but are strong and stiff enough to withstand the harshest riding conditions. We also offer the LITE option which features additional milling in order to reduce weight. These are ideal for road or XC riders looking for an easy way to reduce bike weight.

All Switch Thru Axles are compatible with Switch Levers. Switch Levers can be left in the Switch Thru Axle while riding and the lever is securely and silently held but it can be removed or clocked without tools. Any thru axle with a is compatible with a Switch Lever. You can check out all the Switch Lever options.

Thru axles are not measured in the same way as quick release skewers so you need to measure your thru axle in order to find the correct replacement. For example, a 12x148 frame does NOT use a 148mm long axle.
